Comtech provides two types of onsite workshops: public and private. If you have a small team and/or can open your training facility to outside companies, you should consider scheduling a public workshop. Please note public workshops are presented in a standard format to accommodate a general audience. If you have a large team and/or cannot open your training facility to outside companies, you should consider scheduling a private workshop.
A public workshop host is asked to provide a training room, AV equipment, and a light breakfast each day. Comtech will provide all training materials, lunch, and an instructor including instructors’ travel expenses. In exchange your company will receive significant discounts off the standard enrollment fee. Public workshops need be contracted 2 to 3 months prior to the date of the workshop to allow for setup and registration time.
A private workshop allows the host to have up to 20 attendees and customize the workshop to suit the needs of your team. Attendees can come from any department or location of your company including contractors. This allows you to train your team at one time and improve collaboration. Your content is reviewed prior to the start of the workshop. The workshop is delivered using your content and tools. Private workshops also offer flexibility on when and where the workshop is held.
In either case the host training facility needs to be large enough to comfortably accommodate 20 people working in groups. Participants are required to bring their own laptop to the workshop. Workshops are held for 8 hours during standard business hours including lunch and breaks.
