When you think about organizational politics, do you get a queasy feeling? Do you believe you can and should rise above politics? Do you think of politics as a necessary evil? I did until I heard Dr. Joel DeLuca speak at a seminar 18 years ago. What I learned from him and his book Political Savvy profoundly changed my thinking and behavior. I’ll share some of what I learned and suggest concrete things you can do to become more effective in driving important changes in your organization.
